Next Step Opportunities

•      Endeavor to improve positive communication and partnerships among and between grade levels of goals, grading, pacing and homework (CSP goal 4 2006-2012);

•      Continue to implement of standards-based instruction and grading practices;

•      Provide on-going staff development and training to support local, formative assessment data (CSP goal 3 2006-2012);;

•      Explore the use of instructional strategies such as “Four Blocks” to address reading across the curriculum (WT Sampson SIP goal 1);

•     Integrate AVID strategies to develop study skills and learning strategies;

•     Develop a strategy to allow SIP committees to meet weekly during the duty day;

•     Implement and monitor the continued and effective use of Rubicon Atlas in Mathematics and Science;
